Fire-fighting training center was founded in 1988. Fire-fighting training center which is connected with the management of hte fire-fighting supporting labour, is maintaining researches and educations in the contestation againtst the fire.İBİTEM which is the first fire-fighting training center of Turkey has totally got 66 staffs as the deputy of manager, boss 3 assistants of the boss,24r teachers,10 researching staffs, 8 cameraman and reporter and 19 in other lobs such as archive store driver...

● Basic firemen training
● In-service training for the staff
● Training for the fire brigades of other cities and towns
● Special Firefighting security training for the employees assigned for firefighting of public institutions, industrial and business establishments. (5, 3, 1 days of training).

Training Material of İstanbul Fire Brigade
Fire Department Training Center prepares and prints the resource books, lecture notes for students, brochures, posters and training CD's that are used in training activities.
The training books, leaflets and CD's are prepared especially for the pre-school and primary school children.
Researches are carried out on the proper responses in case of home accidents and emergencies, and the outcomes are placed in the education program.
