A decision support system for urban air quality management was developed for the first time for a metropolitan city in Turkey within the scope of LIFE06-TCY/TR/000283. According to the results of the study, İstanbul Metropolitan Municipality has prepared an action plan titled “İstanbul Air Quality Strategy” to have a better air quality in future.
