Investigaton of this goal is carried out in collaboration with TUBITAK MAM YDBE and ITU. 

TUBITAK Protocol covers:

• Detection of Microearthquake activity.
• Evaluation Reports and delivery of reports to IMM on weekly basis.
• Microtremor array measurments.
• Research at Silivri-Sarayburnu shelf (0-100m) using geophysical methods.
• Determination of the deformation level of the area between Avcılar and Büyükçekmece to investigate the possible effected area at coast.
• Transfer of information and consultancy to IMM on scientific topics.

   ITU Protocol covers:

• High resolution multi-beam bathymetri mapping.
• High resolution shallow seismic reflection.
• Multi-channel high resolution seismic reflection profiles and carots near fault zones.
• Inference of the contiuation of the marine faults on land area using multi channel seismic reflection. This study is undertaken in Hersek Delta, Tuzla and Büyükçekmece-Küçükçekmece.
