Mr. Ali Mazak was born in 1954, Erdemli, Silifke. He completed his primary education in Mersin, middle school education in Kayseri, and university education in Istanbul. He received his Master's Degree from Marmara University Social Sciences Institute, on the subject of "Palestine - Jerusalem History".

Mazak earned his PHD from Istanbul University-Faculty of Economics, Social Politics, Working Economy and Industry Relations Department, with a study about "Human Resources Management in Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality" in 1997. He studied in Egypt, Cairo University for 1 year with a State Research Scholarship. His articles have been published in various newspapers and magazines.

Mr. Mazak worked in Department of Municipality Sales, Department of Cemeteries, Department of Libraries and Museums, and Department of Culture. He served as the Deputy Director at the department of Culture, and worked as a member at the Board of Directors and Inspectors in Istanbul Culture and Art Products A.Ş., Hamidiye Suları A.Ş., Halk Ekmek, Transportation, Beltur companies. Mr. Mazak currently serves as the Director of Tourism as well as serves on the Board of Directors of the Istanbul Sports Co.

Ali Mazak took part in some plays like Sheikh Şamil, Kızılpençe, Yunus Emre, in his years as a student. He also participated in Javelin tournaments in Silifke-Kırobası Haçpınar plateu. Mazak also participated in various activities as a member of Istanbul Governorship, Libraries, Museums and Tourism Weeks Celebration Committee.
