Alpaslan Baki Ertekin was born in 1971, Istanbul. In 1989, he graduated from Içel Anatolian High School and graduated from Boğaziçi University,in 1994 and he took International Trade Master Degree from ITICU.

He started to his business life as Codirector of Migros Stores. Later, he continued as markerting manager, then General Codirector, responsible from export in Garipoğlu Conglomerate. Lastly, he worked as Sales Manager in Nortel Netaş Co. From May 2005 to September 2007, he was Member of Executive Board  and General Director in World Trade Center that is common subsidiary of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, Turkish Union of Chambers and Exchange Commodities, Istanbul Chamber of Commerce. In the same time, he kept duty of general directorate of Trabzon, Kayseri and Ankara World Trade Center up.
On behalf of IMM, he was member of Executive Committee and member of Budget-Tender Council in Executive Board that is top executive organ. Then he was in Member of Administrative Board of BELTUR Co and Consultant of KÜLTÜR Co.

He was appointed as General Director of SPOR Co on 11/06th/2009. Alpaslan Baki Ertekin who is from Ordu/Mesudiye is married and father of three daughters
