Mehmet Abdullah Kaplan He was born in Diyarbakır/Bismil, 1962. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in various cities and towns. In 1983, he graduated from Istanbul University, Turkish Language and Literature. Between 1983 and 1997, he worked as Turkish teacher and schoolmaster in some schools. In 1997, he started to work in Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality. He worked as director and deputy director in Directorate of City Theatres. Also he worked as Director of Archive and Director of City Orchestra. He took charge as consultant in Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, Department of Culture. When he worked as Secretary of Faculty in Kırklareli University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, he was appointed as Director of City Theatres, again on 11/18th/2009. He knows advanced English and Arabic. Kaplan is married with 4 children.
