Süleyman Genç Mr. Süleyman Genç graduated from Pertevniyal High School in 1979. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Istanbul Technical University, Department of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering in 1985. He received his Master’s degree from Istanbul University Faculty of Business Adminstration. As part of scholarsip program by UNIDO - United Nations Industrial Development Organization, he completed the naval ship repair and maintenance program in Belgium, in 1993.
Mr. Genç began his Professional career at Turkish Ship Building Industry Pendik Shipyard in 1988 and he also served as an engineer and executive officer at various levels. He has been serving as a dockmaster of Turkey Maritime Organization (TDI) at İDO (Istanbul Seabuses Co.) since the year 2005.
Mr. Genç took part in many national and international projects concerning transport planning, optimization and logistics. He also took part in the project team for the construction of the first domestic seabus that was accepted as a first step in creating know-how by the Turkish Maritime Sector.
Mr. Genç is married with three children.
He is also fluent in English.
