İsmet Yıldırım was born in 1960, Bayburt. He graduated from Yıldız Technical University-Department of Construction Engineering in 1982. He worked in the sector of construction engineering consultant in his family's firm; and constructed 500 apartments, 204 offices, 4 commercial buildings, 200 workplaces, and 42 villas in Pendik, Kadıköy, B.Çekmece, and Çengelköy. He is a member of council in Istanbul Trade Chamber, and the Director at the Board (36th) of Construction Engineering. He is married with two children and speaks English.
