He was born in 1971, Trabzon/Arsin. He completed his primary and secondary education in Trabzon. In 1990, he was graduated from Karadeniz Technical University, Faculty of Architecture, Department of Geodesy and Photogrammetric.
Between 1990-1994 years, he worked as engineer on construction of Toprakkale – İskenderun Highway. In 1995, he completed his military duty. In 1996, he worked as chief cartographer in Main channel and tunnel construction of Dicle Barrage.
On May 1997,  he started to work in Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, Directorate of Cartography. Between 1998-2000 years, he worked in Directorate of Lands Clauses, between 2000-2001 years he worked in Directorate of Parks and Gardens, He was in Directorate of Domiciles between 2001-2005 years. Between 2005-2009 year, he worked as Assistant Director in Directorate of Cemeteries
By 17th/07/2009, he works as Director of Expropriation. Abdullah Çolak who knows English, is married with three children.
