Israfil Aydın was born in 1967, Gümüşhane. He completed his elementary and high school education in Istanbul. Later, he graduated from Istanbul University- Department of Sociology. In 1995, he started to working at the Department of Municipal Police. Between 1995 and 2006, he worked in different units of Department of Municipal Police. Lastly, he worked as deputy director in Directorate of Municipal Police Counsel. Between 08th/12/2006- 12th/11/2009 he was Director of Municipal Police Counsel. Between 12th/11/2009 and 15th/01/2010, he worked as Director of European Side Municipal Counsel. By 15th/01/2010, he was appointed as Director of Municipal Police Support Services.
