Yakup Demirhan graduated from Vefa Poyaz High School, and ITU-Faculty of Architecture. He started his career with private architecture projects and a construction bureu. He worked in various construction sites outside of Turkey. Demirhan, also served as a member of Architectures Chamber Trakya 2nd Region Representation. He speaks fluent English and Arabic. He worked as the Consultant to Mayor of Gaziosmanpaşa Municipality, and as an architect specialist at TOKI. He was a member at IBB-PDKTK (Coordination of Project Evaluation Pursuit Committee), participated at projects about transportation in Istanbul, coordination of investments, start and conclusion of the IBB Housing Policy projects of 28.09.2006, the specification of the plan notes of 5000 expansion which would be including all the city. Demirhan currently works in projects about Housing Law, Construction Supervision Law, Ownership Law, Public Bid Law, Parking Lot Policy, Shelter Policy.
