Nusret Mum Mr. Nusret Mum was born in Erenli Village of Kale (İzollü) District in Malatya, in 1974.
After completing his high school education at Malatya Ş.K.Ö. Technical High School in 1992, he graduated from Fırat University, Faculty of Civil Engineering in 1996.
After working as a construction supervisor for a private company in Istanbul for a while, he began working as a supervising engineer at the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality's Directorate of Infrastructure Coordination in 1997.
After fulfilling his military service obligation as a reserve officer in the 7th Army Corps in Diyarbakir between the years November 1998 and March 2000, he continued working for his former position as a supervising engineer at the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality's Directorate of Infrastructure Coordination. He was appointed as a deputy- director at the Directorate of Infrastructure Coordination in November 2004. After the establishment of the Directorate of Infrastructure Services at IMM in 2007, he continued working as a deputy-director at the same directorate.
In addition, he received his Master’s Degree with the thesis titled " An Examination on the Effect of the Seismic Isolation on Reinforced Concrete Bridges and An Application Sample” at Istanbul Kültür University (IKU).
He has currently been serving as the Director of Infrastructure Services, where he had previously worked as a supervising engineer and as a deputy- director, at the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, since February 2012.
Mr. Mum is married with two children.
