As the #1 public housing company in Turkey, KİPTAŞ produces safe, comfortable, and spacious mass housing units, complete with all the social facilities necessary for a well-organized and well-planned community.
Objectives:
Established in 1987, KİPTAŞ's mission is to prepare projects concerning city, environment, and constructionplanning as well as architectural projects. KİPTAŞ aims to prevent the buildup of slum and shanty areas and the consequent decrease inpublic health standards, to prevent overpopulation and overconstruction, and to keep urban development under control and in accordance with a planned development strategy.

Operations:
KİPTAŞ builds quality modern housing units affordable by all income groups.
-KİPTAŞ's rapid and inexpensive construction of modern urban sites serves to attract migrants to planned urban sites rather than shanty areas. Educational, social, religious, and cultural facilities, as well as playgrounds for children, sufficient parking lots and road access are included in the community housing areas. KİPTAŞ also transforms abandoned slum sites into orderly settlements and recreation areas.
İkitelli Başakşehir Housing Complex
-KİPTAŞ's projects emphasize the protection of stream basins, agricultural land, forests, historical sites and the Bosphorus landscape, and new urban areas are planned to include sufficient green areas.
-KİPTAŞ uses Raft Foundation Steel Form technology in its housing projects. Research and surveys undertaken by KİPTAŞ after the August 1999 earthquake indicate that this is the most suitable construction technique to protect against earthquake damage. KİPTAŞ continues to research appropriate techniques of design and construction for Istanbul and other municipalities in Turkey.
Accomplishments:
KİPTAŞ is one of the most ambitious public housing companies in the region, successfully undertaking massive, complex housing projects and building self-contained satellite cities.

Altunizade Hilal Housing Complex
-KİPTAŞ has received the ISO 9001 international quality certificate for the production of mass house buildings.
