Evaluations about new tariffs in the metrobus line are not reality and speculative. Some important cases in evaluations are ignored.
First, it should be noted that approximately 42 km Metrobus line is composed of total 3 lines.  These lines are; 1- Avcılar – Topkapı, 2- Topkapı Zincirlikuyu, 3- Zincirlikuyu – Söğütlüçeşme. Thanks to Metrobus, this line is a line now. There is not this kind of public transportation line in any metropolitan.
If there is not metrobus, cost of going to Söğütlüçeşme from Avcılar would be 4,5 TL. Initially, metrobus line which combines 3 lines is free then during 3 months, prices was reduced to encourage people.  
Transportation price and Time Evaluation:
Metrobus has many advantages in price and time.
Before Metrobus, from Avcılar to Kadıköy is 180 minutes, now with metrobus this distance is 63 minutes.
Example 1
While A passenger who use 120 – Kadıköy – Mecidiyeköy line, pay 3,00 TL, he/she will pay 2,00 TL. Also metrobus will go in 20 minutes, while bus goes in 60 minutes. Moreover this passenger doesn’t pay extra, if he-she goes on Avcılar.
Example 2
Token is 6.00 TL in Bostancı-Avcılar Ferry passage, Akbil is 4,00 TL in the same passage. On the other hand, From Bostancı to Söğütlüçeşme, Söğütlüçeşme – Avcılar with metrobus total 3, 50 TL.

IETT Buses and Metrobus
After Metrobus, many passengers of IETT buses started to use Metrobus because of price advantage, speed and comfort of Metrobus.

Decreasing to 160 of Bording Number in Mavi Akbil won’t affect to capacity of passenger negatively.

Pricing system according to distance
For the pricing system according to distance which will be applied soon, infrastructure work continues. When infrastructure works are completed, pricing system according to distance will be applied.
The passengers who use AKBİL in other line, still pay 1,5 YTL for a boarding, pay 0,75 TL for transshipping, pay 0,85 TL reduced price and pay 0,21 TL for reduced transshipping.
